I too have a problem with overly dark graphics in BF2 (and strangely only here, other games/Windows looks perfectly fine). So before starting the game I just turn up the brightness and contrast in my driver settings for my Geforce 6800GT.

Not the best solution but it works, for now

Overall pretty good, these are some pretty nifty updates and I especially welcome the option for favorite lists in the server. Also the ability to see the names of other people in a vehicle...it's kinda guesswork right now if you ride with others

...and some are extremely lame
