Check the website of your motherboard manufacturer. My MoBo (abit kd7) has 2 slots for 400mhz ram and 2 for lower ones. I just bought 512Mb@400Mhz for 40 Euro and I had 2x256@266Mhz. I don't think the timing must match, the only problem is that sometimes, if you put modules with different timing, th...

I have only 512 Mb of Ram and a Ge Force FX 5600, I play 800x600 or 1024x768 with medium details. The only thing that really goes slow is loading the maps, when connecting to a server, and some others slowdown while you enter a battle. It is getting worse with the new patches, so I suggest to upgrad...

Try to start a transfer from your cellphone, and then bring the two ir-interfaces close and alligned, a small icon should come up on you task bar.. I don't know how you can backup all your data, I used ir to beam files to and from my laptop, but the backup via ir must be supported by the software of...

Maybe you could just expand the partition without formatting (with partition magic or something like that). It is also possible that the games just check C for space available, but then you can install it elsewhere. BF2 patch wants 3GB of space in C, even if the game is installed in E.. Try to free ...

My own 2 cents about the patch: I started installation, then stopped it because my computer was almost freezed. Then I re-ran it completely, but the game could not start. Did it another time (it didn't say the game was already patched) but still didn't work. I had to uninstall, reinstall and even re...

Yeah because Road to Rome and Secret Weapons were so great... It'll be another 30 buck 6 map pack, with a few new vehicles and weapons. Not worth blowing money on really, but people will because it's Battlefield. I hope this time will me better, the trailer show many new weapons (though most...

I noticed that after the patch, when I enter on a map for the first time, it takes a few seconds to my pc to work at the normal speed. Maybe they added some high cpu-cost calculation (checksum or something like that) at that moment, and that may cause problems to a slow cpu. I also noticed now the g...
