It was still a fun mod to play Winter... but I do agree that Galactic Conquest (or something like that) was a really cool mod, and better than the pirates one. I never got into the base building one though, it seemed to be insanely laggy whenever I played it and riddled with bugs.

Yeah, Battlefield Pirates was great. I remember one map had hundreds of balloons that you could sit in and you had to wage war in the skies. Lots of fun.

I think we should choose a good community mod or maybe even make our own and stick with that, the less money our members have to spend on official expansions by EA (which arn't that great anyway) the more money they have to spend on GC and the less time they have to spend in the waiting room. Yes! ...

I hated DC for 1942, this was my favourite mod by far and the main one I played...it was amazing

You can't forget the others though, especially mods like GC - even if it was a bit laggy.

The air-dropped vehicles thing sounds funny... people already get crushed by supply crates - imagine a tank floating down from the sky
