Re: Arma 2: DayZ mod
I think the single best group of loot I have found contained an MP5SD, compass, map, G17 and about 4 clips for the G17. I didn't find any MP5SD ammo until I searched one of the army locales. I still have all that loot, as I have not died yet.

Re: Arma 2: DayZ mod
At the airstrip the other day. Me and two friends. We left one guy watching the airfield through binocs and the two of us made our way into the hangars. We checked the first one out and nothing. Which told us someone had been there in the last 3 minutes (Loot respawn is 3 minutes I believe). We cont...

Re: Battlefield 3 Premium poll
Agreed. Mods make games live longer, see: Arma 2.
With that in mind, I have very high hopes for Arma 3.

Re: Arma 2: DayZ mod
I don't think it's that difficult. Movement keys are normal, X crouch, Zprone, shift walk/run, "inventory" is G. It's getting used to how they are implemented that is a bit difficult. Learning to run with while keeping freelook going, and inventory management can be a bit of a hassle. Dou...

Re: Recommended Software/Hardware for recording gameplay.
So, I used MSI Afterburners built in video capture tool. I play at 1080P but had it record at 720P and 85% quality. Lost about 20 frames and the footage was sort of blurry (I assume the effect of recording at a lower resolution than what it actually is). Anyways, the point I was trying to make, was ...

Re: Recommended Software/Hardware for recording gameplay.
The CPU is fine for 60fps in BF3. BF3 is more GPU dependent once you get up to Quad core levels, and BF3 loves Nvidia cards. He has both the CPU power and GPU power that BF3 loves.

Re: Battlefield freezing and the solution
For using Prime95, use Blend test. It will more accurately show what the computer will do when brought to 100% CPU usage. Furmark I am not a fan of because it is not real world applicable. No game stresses a GPU like Furmark. To more accurately use Furmark, run it for 10-20 minutes and note GPU temp...
