Re: rubberband issues
Doubt it. OC settings stay the same after Afterburner closes down. It's only when it is opened that it causes headaches. Usually after a reboot, I start afterburner to check the clocks to make sure they did not default on me and then I close it down while it retains the clocks. Samrt doctor serves t...

So, some patch notes. -Increased the inaccuracy and recoil added when a player is fully suppressed. -Shotgun Buck and Flechette rounds now have a less suppressive effect at medium to long range. -Increased the effectiveness of Suppression Resist Specialization. -Parachutes now respond to turn and th...

Re: NA server #2 pub play Feedback
It would seem that I have no problems other then when I shot someone, I would pump 5 bullets more than I needed to kill him. So I would shoot someone, and if I stopped they would drop dead 1 second later. Made for some real funny moments where I ask "How the crap did you live?" Only to see...

Re: rubberband issues
Are you running any overclocks? Or overclocking programs? I know BF3 hates it when I have MSI afterburner running and BF3 does not play nice with overclocks much. It also hates it if you leave an overclocking program open. I have gotten some serious rubberbanding issues if I leave my Asus Smart Doct...

If you are using Nvidia, try updating drivers to the new ones just released. Apparently solves a memory problem regarding BF3 and Video cards with a gig or less of memory. http://www.geforce.com/Drivers/Results/41694 (64 Bit) http://www.geforce.com/Drivers/Results/41697 (32 bit) "Battlefield 3 ...

Re: Battlefield 3 wont launch
I have it fixed now. I just deleted the majority of the files and had Origin repair the game. When I last played the game I got the "You were disconnected from EA" error message. It's possible it was left running in the background? I never honestly looked to check. Something to look for it...

Re: Battlefield 3 wont launch
Have you tried running both BF3 and Origin in admin mode? I did. I ended up deleting the BF3.exe and the Installer folder along with my data folder. That way it was forced to repair it and update the game. I have no idea why it worked, or even how it got to the point of broken but I at least have i...

Battlefield 3 wont launch
I can't get BF3 to launch. It worked fine 5 hours ago, but now it wont start up through Origin. If I go to the Battlelog site manually and try and join a server it just says "Joining server" forever. It never actually joins. I have tried the "repair installation" and it says ever...

Re: How did you thought of your forum nickname
I have a fat cat. We got him when he was a kitten (Very big kitten), and he still acts like one even 4 years later, but fat.
With that in mind, I came up with 'fitty' as his name. fat kitty. From there, fittyman became my go to name. Replacing the very old $cr@mbler name I used to use a lot.
