It makes no difference what rank you are on ranked/official servers because an unranked server will set everyone to a null rank.

Private and unranked are two separate server settings for Battlefield 4. Unranked servers don't have commander mode, while private servers don't give you all unlocks.

If GC was truly important to DICE/EA, one of our representatives would have been sent to play in London just like Level. We are a community on the fringe of the action (not to say that doesn't have its merits), not the "bee's knees".
