They really should just make APS not affect things that can be rapid fired (rocket pods, IFV primary, main gun on attack jet). Then it'd be more liked BF3 reactive armor.TheNixNick wrote:-MAA with APS. Seriously, that thing shouldn't have it.

ABC says the draft is on the 15th. Should fix that

Re: Server Update R30
I just want the old BF3 smoke on my tank. Using it like a squid to escape was great.
Oh well. Javelins have been nerfed. Basically all of my concerns balance wise are gone (regarding tanks that is).
Now we just need adequate netcode. And patches that don't break crap.

Re: Global Podcast #15
Just as an opinion: For LAW/Staff, leaving staff in is good for infantry since it means tanks might not always run an anti-infantry secondary. With the reduced damage, staff is really only useful for long range engagements anyway (primarily China Rising maps). Also extra shells. I wish they did an a...

Re: Global Podcast #15
We don't want 70% of our community running with the same type of weapon but at the same time we want to balance thing a little bit more, make some other guns more useful and at the same time, keep the GC-mode of settings, which is (or was) a mix between normal-core and hard-core. Just restrict DMRs...

Re: Campaign 2: Player Draft OPEN
ABC still says "BF3 Soldier Name" when signing up for the draft. Should change that to BF4.

Re: New Campaign Proposal (Poll added)
Have we actually had a proper discussion directed at deciding what to ban? Personally I was hoping the major balance patch would be out by the time we start a campaign, but as of yet there is still no ETA

Yeah, a lot of fun. Felt like insurgency but with more people. Although artillery is annoying. Either you're left standing around pointlessly for 30 seconds or you die and find out it was friendly artillery. In the future it's useful to keep in mind that we can join using a server IP. I know I tried...

Re: [Titanfall] Closed Beta Signups
I'm interested in trying it, but I doubt it'll be interesting enough to hold my attention for long. Playing a competitive FPS alone quickly becomes dull. I also think the AI will be okay. I mean, creeps work fine in MOBAs, so I'm not totally against the idea. The 6v6 seems like a good idea too. Shor...

Re: New Campaign Proposal (Poll added)
Banning jets was a joke guys. I just hate jets because they kill me (I also hated the attack heli, but that thing is so bad in bf4). Realistically, I leave it to the air guys to figure out how to fix and balance these things.

Re: New Campaign Proposal (Poll added)
As I recall, GC used to have a group for neutrals. How useful was that as far as balancing things?
IMO a large part of last campaigns failures was officers and aircrew leaving, and the terrible command chat. Just ban jets and don't pick flaky officers

I would have guessed it was about the length of an Idris. It's more like 2/3 that, so smaller than I expected. It's like a tenth the length of a bengal carrier though O.o

Re: [Insurgency] Tuesday Night Insurgency Ops
AFAIK there is no bullet deviation, where your gun is pointed is where the bullets go.
However, you do have sway on every gun, just like a BF sniper scope. The sway increases when tired or under suppression. Recoil also increases under suppression. And you get some screen blur.
