Re: Protest
Our importance to EA/Dice is directly proportional to our reach via social media, and yes clearly Level is far more visible, that's not an impossible level for us to aspire to. Not to mention we can influence Level players and vice versa to take coordinated action. My point is we have leverage as we...

Re: Protest
Believe it or not, boycotts do work, and GC is important to EA/Dice. When you consider the various organized communities like GC, 21CW, LVL, and half a dozen more, you're looking at a significant set of organizations and players, and if all these groups were to act in concert to say the EA/Dice sche...

Re: Protest
If their sales never suffer from their awful programming, how do you expect they will ever stop abusing you? Or do you have some idea that it's impossible for them to sell a product that isn't severely flawed?

Protest
Okay, I wasn't there for BF2 or BF3 launch, I showed up to BF3 in late December, and the game seemed pretty decently stable and the servers didn't crash almost ever. This game release is the worst I've ever seen, which is maybe because I don't buy that many games, but still - I've had decent (actual...

Worst Free2Play
The worst of these tend to be called "Pay2Win" instead, but I wonder what your experiences are with these game types. You don't pay for the game, you can pay for things in the game (better guns, armor, attributes, luck, whatever). Which is the one that drives you most nuts? My worst/favori...

Re: how to watch STAR WARS the right way
I'd recommend Machete, as well. What'd be good would be a long mashup of I and II, contract the first movie down to fundamentals, shorten a few obnoxious "romantic" (aka CREEPY) moments from the second. You might not get the same feeling of completeness or have the exact right pacing, but ...

GC Teamspeak
Just this evening, some handful of hours ago, I lost the ability to see people in channels I'm not in. I get this message upon joining the server:
insufficient client permissions (failed on i_client_max_channel_subscriptions)
It's weird. Anyone else?

Re: Teamspeak discipline
If he would only admit kicking people from channels only for muting them is wrong, we wouldn't have a problem, but Cognito refuses such common sense.
