What's the difference between the "hybrid" and "detailed" minimaps?

I didn't actually think once about the servers during the battleday, which probably means they're fine. I feel the same as calloutman. Livestreams were one thing that we considered during opening weeks of Globe planning, but we didn't feel that it would work out.

However, as Duke pointed out, video recordings of communication and actions during battledays would be a great thing to show the world as an example of what GC is about.

We're actually three hours into a battleday right now, so it may be some time before a tournament admin is able to assign you to an army and get you set up.

Playing on the NA2 server during the battleday, it was horrible. The ping isn't great, but I was okay with that as it is in NA after all. But every ten minutes or so, I'd spend thirty seconds staring at the orange disconnect symbol waiting for the connection to pick itself back up again.
