bc2 beta questions

well, I did get the beta and played a round. on my laptop with 4gb of ram and a 9800M graphics chip, the game artifacts horribly on all low graphics. this is the only game this happens on, I can play any other game on my PC (inlcuding DA:O, TF2, EVE, css, etc) without this problem. anyone else have this?

also, whenever I start the game it tries to update to a new build, but then says it can't find the server or something to that effect. anyone else see this?

edit: apparently I also can't read, this was supposed to go into the help section. oh well.

For the update part...run update exe as administrator.

I tried it for 5 mins and had the same problem with artifacting. I have an 8800 gt. I haven't had chance to try and resolve it yet, so would be interested if anyone has a quick fix.

got it to update, and the artifacting isnt as bad but its still there. at least I know its not just me now

got new drivers and its running better. at least the artifacts are gone anyways
