What a godawful match

I expected an uninspiring mind numbing game from Argentina, but wanted to see a lot more from Netherlands.

Well, at least there wont be any Netherlands vs Germany drama in the finals. Many fans tend to take this long-standing football rivalry too serious.

I think Germany could have stopped attacking in second half...its a disgrace to humiliate a team that hosts the world cup in a nation that lives on football (even more with all the protests going on). There is no sportsmanship in that.

Really happy for Argentina though!! My bet is on them!

The audience pay for the game, they pay to see the teams play, not pass the time.

I was hoping for the Netherlands to win, mainly because:

1) I wanted to see them get pounded by Germany.

2) I wanted to see Argentina beat Brazil on home turf, causing them to declare war, culminating in world war 3.

Maybe because he supports the country? If America or Korea played a bad game, but still won, I'd be ecstatic.

meh....supporting has its limits. If Germany would play like Argentina I would root for Netherlands out of protest.
Also it was not just "a" bad game, this is Argentina's typical style.
