I've been drafted, now what?

Post by jddrewes »

Hey guys, new player here. I played a ton of BF2 back in the day, although I never really joined a clan or anything since there was enough teamwork integrated in the game. Now BF3 is a fantastic game, but you really have to go out of your way to use teamwork. So I did a bit of looking around and found you guys!
Anyways, so I registered for the boot-camp draft or whatever a couple days ago and it now says that I'm part of "PRIDe". What's the next step? I heard that there's a forum specific for my army or whatever, so how do I access that? And will I be able to fight in the next battle, or do I have to wait?
Thanks for the help in advance, and I can't wait to see you guys on the Battlefield!

Greetings jddrewes!

The draft was held yesterday and you should gain access to our army's forums later today. Activities will start immediately and you can always join TeamSpeak and see what's going on. We may have training/play sessions during the week for fun which will be scheduled on our forum and will have our first Battleday this coming Saturday. You are more than welcome to join any of these!

One more question, what game mode do you guys play on? Normal, Hardcore, or a mix in between? There's a lot of things that I like about both, but generally, I prefer the features that make the game more like BF2.

Those setting are actually perfect. If I had my own server, it would probably be exactly that.
You guys are awesome, and I can't wait to fight with you!

What does this mean?

Hmm, I'm guessing that is the amount of time you are "dead" and able to be revived. I noticed that too during the draft scrimmage that soldiers have a bit more time to revive their teammates, think it's perfect!

This is the amount of time your body can be revived. It is 50% longer than default and does not effect the respawn timer.
