Newcomer's questions

Hello everyone,
I recently joined this forum in a quest for a better BF3 experience.
Few questions first:
I missed C3 draft. Do I need to what for it to end and join only in the next draft?
I'm from Israel and our weekend is Thursday to Saturday. Are the battles scheduled for Sunday or Saturday?
From what I read there are training battles. Are they mandatory?
Cheers and hopefully I'll see you on the battlefield.

Firstly welcome to GC :)

1. No you can join the campaign at any time. Sign up in this thread and you should be assigned to an army.

2. Battles are on saturdays at 18:00 GMT for 6 hours. Nothing on sunday.

3. They are not mandatory, but if you can make it that's great! To be honest nothing is strictly mandatory, but the more people attend the merrier.

Thank you for quick reply.
The hours seem fine. Six hours is a long time! How many matches per session?
An idea: it would be nice if the SBT(standard battle time) will also be displayed on the site together with the next battle countdown.

There are about 10 per battleday with a half hour break in the middle. To be honest though it really depends on the maps played and how much of a fight the sides are putting up.

That's a pretty good idea, maybe one of the admins could do that?

:) I didn't mean it as a three day weekend (I wish it was).
Playing BF3 on Thursday to Saturday up to the late hours of the night is possible when you have no job the next day (except for Saturday but then it's still the weekend fun time!).

I'm pretty sure he meant that there would be, additional to the countdown, the SBT in the time zone from your forum settings.
Something like "Your SBT is: 19:00" (for me).

I actually think that's a pretty good idea that the admins should look into.

Welcome to PRIDe BTW, BoomBang.
