Where are your servers physically located(resolved)

Post by MikeHawk »

cause I'm in AZ & the servers are choppy as hell. 2 steps forward 4 steps back. Now before you ask about my rig read the sig, & a 9meg down 2meg up connection & I can normally connect to anything. Even in western Europe as well. So it's either the box or the boxes connection. Anyways, I prolly won't be able to participate(I know big deal =P).
AMD-64bit FX-53(@3.3Ghz)

I'm in Arizona as well and the servers are just fine for me.

I believe the NA server is in New York, and the EU server is in Germany.

It's not your location, Mike. I live even further away and my lag is very nominal at the worst. Trying pinging the servers and posting results as well as trying "dslreports.com" for some very good tests as in speed, tweaks, line quality, ect. They specialize in tweaking broadband connections and it's free, check it out mate.

You'd better hope you're faster than the wind...for I am what drives the bullet into your skull unaware.

I'm on an island off the West coast of Canada. I ping (through Pingplotter) 115 ave. to the server. I was having lots of connectivity problems when I first installed the game. There is a section in the tech forum that leads to an article on opening your game ports through your firewall. Once I did this I rarely get a connection problem. Its worth a try at least.
