Converting Mpgs to DVD's with menus? (UPDATED)
Hi all.
I used to use Ulead video studio 9 to make my own DVD's from videos i had recorded with my cam corder. This program (cracked version) no longer seems stable and i was wondering if there was another program i could use?
Does anyone have any suggestions? I could make a SVCD but ill have to compress my videos then and i dont want to do that. I dont need to edit the clips at all, just to make a simple menu and convert.
If you've had any success then please let me know.

check that site, that has tons of information and software about your question. They have bunch of tutorials for your need.
On a sidenote: Please don't post something about using/getting illegal software.

I decided to use MyDVD as suggested, its easy enough to use etc.
When i play the dvd back though its a bit choppy, like the frame rate isnt very high or its continually stuttering from frame to frame. Its hard to explain.
Any thoughts on why this might happen? my system is fairly high spec.

There are a number of things that could be going wrong from the conversion being disrupted or just not going well, try checking the DVD on another player or burning another DVD. I believe the software automatically use's the right frame rate for DVD players. I use AVI files for the most and haven’t had a problem with stuttering outside the odd writing cock-up. Have you got it set to pal, sorry I don’t know of any more complicated ideas for what went wrong?

Ok, im using DVD-Lab Pro now.
I cant load my videos into it when i tried to open them with virtual dub it said it couldnt because they r 'dvsd' format, which is doesnt support.
Ive never heard of this before, have you? What can i use to convert them to an mpg or simular?
thankyou.
