Well, where is it? Typically, even if you have the bbcode or hmtl formatting code wrong, it will still show the url that you typed in and any code that is misplaced. It becomes visible when put in the wrong places.

Example: [img]http://www.comcast.ugly\main folder\cool.jpg[img]

Notice how the typing shows as well as the improperly closed out tags. If it was typed correctly, it would have this [/img] instead of [img] at the end of your link. Make sure there are no open spaces between brackets and beginning and end of your link. That is really all there is when posting just a simple image link. The only other problem encountered is if the link is spelled wrong or the the server where you have this image stored requires a password to get in or is down for maintenance or some such.
Pm me what you have and I will give you a better idea of whats up baddog. Nothing to feel bummed about though, we all were there at one point or another and it just takes time and a little practice, mate.

Also, if you click on the link to the right of your editing box, the one that says BBcode is on, it will open a very easy to understand help page. If you havn't read it before, give it a look see. It's all there, just skip down to the image posting paragraph for now and read the rest at your leisure.
