This program is released as Coke-ware. If you like it and ever meet the author, you must by him a coke.

Well, I did all the stuff for ASE, and it works great. Recommended to anyone who's sick of the ingame browser or LameSpy

I guess ASE now launches servers automatically with 1.01 in case anyone didn't know.

There seems to be a solution to join BF2 with ASE again .. a guy at a german bf2 forum posted this
german original wrote: * ASE beenden falls noch geöffnet
* C:\Programme\The All-Seeing Eye\filters.txt öffnen
* nach Battlefield 2 suchen
* folgendes als als JoinTemplate einsetzen:
o JoinTemplate: {EXEPATH} +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +restart +joinServer {ip} +port {port} +username accountname +playerPassword accountpasswort [ +password "{PASSWORD}"]
o accountname und accountpasswort durch eure Daten ersetzen
* filters.txt speichern
* nach Eigene Dateien\Battlefield 2\Profiles gehen und die global.con mit dem Texteditor öffnen
* bei Prefix den Präfix eurer Wahl eintragen, speichern
* der Datei global.con das Attribut schreibgeschützt geben da der Präfix sonst wieder verschwindet
* ASE starten, Server joinen

* Anmerkung: Es hängt am Anfang etwas wegen der Nachricht aber dann connectet er sofort und lädt die Map.
my quick english translation wrote: * make sure ASE is closed
* open "C:\Programme\The All-Seeing Eye\filters.txt" .. or wherever you installied ASE
* search for Battlefield 2
* use this as JoinTemplate:
o JoinTemplate: {EXEPATH} +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +restart +joinServer {ip} +port {port} +username accountname +playerPassword accountpasswort [ +password "{PASSWORD}"]
o replace "accountname" and "accountpasswort" with your information
* save filters.txt
* go to "My documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles" and edit global.con
* put in the Prefix of your choice
* make the fileglobal.con write protected.. or it will be overwritten and your prefix is gone
* start ASE .. join a server.. get killed by gribble

*Attention: it might take a while till bf2 connects to the server. Reason seems to be the EA message in the beginning.
