No gun glitch survey

I played on public servers quite alot over the past 2 weeks, and i still haven't encountered it once outside of GC. I had it happen to me on both EU and NA servers.

It can't really be a clientside issue, since it seems to start happening to everyone at once. Last week on the EUBO, GoO Rush was fine, but on Armored Shield, our whole squad started loosing their guns.

Yeah, same for us. It seems to be a server glitch that hits randomly, then everyone randomly has a chance to fail.

I've googled this a bunch and haven't seen anyone talking about it from a server perspective. Most of the stuff I find is for PS3 or xbox.

I've had it once or twice in public and that was a long time ago.
I got it yesterday during Battle Day and it was quite annoying, left the game and we had all flags and came back one minute later (yes ssd drive) and we had one flag. Im guessing I wasn't the only one who got it that round? This happened on Sharqi for me.

Sharqi, this time. 2 -3 times ( assault ). came back after each spawn, this time. Orgin was fine btw.
Once I got revived and after that I was only able to move forward and turn only 45° to left or right ...

That is a known bug. It occurs when you get shot off your parachute and then revived. Another revive usually fixes it.

Some people have said it only happens on unranked servers, if this is true, why don't we just make the GC servers ranked? There's no reason they have to be unranked is there?

In unranked everyone has equality (unlocks, guns, camos, attachments, etc.)

Once I got revived and after that I was only able to move forward and turn only 45° to left or right ...

That is a known bug. It occurs when you get shot off your parachute and then revived. Another revive usually fixes it.

but I wasn't paradropin and if I'm right it was after a death with no gun.

Oh, I didn't know you couldn't have a password on a ranked server. I doubt the unlocks would be a problem for anyone.

Unlocks would be a big problem. There are a number of people who rarely play BF3 outside of GC.

i have played merely 28 hours

i think this saturday both sides had the glitch on NA on sharqi...made the fight quite hard.

Unlocks would be a big problem. There are a number of people who rarely play BF3 outside of GC.

Also we could not set the server to reflect our GC settings (e.g. 80% health etc.., recovery, countdown between rounds etc.) when it would be running ranked. And while not really a huge issue some players might not be so eager to do certain tasks during the GC-tournaments cause they could ruin their ranked stats. Imagine you sit guarding a flag that nobody attacks for the whole battleday, or you end up attacking a flag and are bombed, mortared ... the whole day without getting points yourself - it doesn't matter to your rating when being on an unranked server.
