whoever was at the BFCON06 (big ea sponsored lan in germany) this year gets a betakey. They will also have something similar for another ea sponsored lan signups in a few days .. damn, nothing for me

Damn, this sucks. When i even have the feeling to give those frakers at fileplanet a subscription, i still see: US Residents only. Fuckin stupid site. I'd rather download ad 3dgamers or telenet.be.

3D Gamers is part of the same conglomerate as IGN and Fileplanet.

But for most stuff, you can download at 3dgamers only with registrating, and not paying.

That's the same with fileplanet, normally you only have to be a registered user to download. But with some special events they change it.

Downloading the beta doesnt do any good without a key. Cant install or play without one. I might download it just to have it handy when they finally quit being asshats and release keys to the people on the waiting list.

I just noticed...
The beta has 1,249 downloads.
So, 200 from the PBF giveaway.
Probably some people that redownloaded it after a corrupt file or downloaded it without a key.

So, safe to guess, UNDER 1,000 keys were given to FP subs.

You cant install the beta without a key anyway, and each key is only valid for one install.

i upped a video to x's ftp but i cant seem to be able to download from it...

The install doesn't require a cd key but first time you run the software it asks for it and checks it against an online database
