AIX GET TOGETHER

Post by AngelOne »

I know a few of us are playing various mods, but I have been playing AIX over the last few weeks and I think it's COOL 8) . I would like to hear from fellow members who would like to get together one night... or more to play as a group. This could be on CO-OP or CONQUEST maps, both have their challenges

. It's been quite quiet for far too long. Let's get some "Rounds Down The Range" and get back into playing together, and at the same time try out various maps.

This is Topic is for aimed just at AIX mod. If you play Frontline, I am sure Tube would be more than willing to assist.

I look forward to hearing from you all again soon.

Cya on the AIX Battlefield. :fighting2:

I have been playing it a little this week. The co-op is a fragfest but still fun. I'll do either. When is the question.

Check this server Global-Conflict-na2 normal port. We may load AIX on it if the line is good. Needs to be stressed.

I’m still trying to find time to download all the AIX stuff, but I’m very much interested by this mod. I can participate during the weekends.

Sound good Thur, but who is going to load the Mod onto the server? And if possible can you give us a specific IP address. Ain't sure if your mention of Global-Conflict-na2 was to show a link, or if it was just a Text Reference we put in the Search?

To the rest of you that are ready to rock and play AIX :D .

Let's say we meet on TS for 20:30 hrs GMT and discuss where and what maps we want to try. Hopefuly by then Thur would be able to give us some more info. Then. . . .

:fighting37: First Bullet: 21:00 hrs GMT. :fighting7

Look forward to speaking and playing with you guys again.... my mic will need a dusting off... not been used too much over the last few weeks.. months...

Oops forgot to mention. As it seems that Ausbilder has been playing AIX for longer than some of us and has that "Touch More Experience" on the mod. May I make the suggestion for this Saturday that Ausbilder has ready some servers and maps that he feels would be worth trying. Sorry Ausbilder if this puts you on the spot, but I know you have already have ideas.. :P

Likewise, If you any of you guys feel you have enough "Hours" under your belt, please feel free to give comments. Main aim as always is to have FUN.

Server: global-conflict-na2
IP 192.168.0.201 port 16567

I think we turned off the pw but if it is back on the pw is bf2fun

As far as I know the server is only running vanilla right now. It belongs to a friend of mine, he just picked it up for his business. I do not know if it is running atm but I will be there tomorrow night to finish the install of AIX.

He has a lot of soft and hardware experience but starting from scratch with running a bf2 server. We had it going last night.

192.168.xxx.xxx is a private LAN address that we cant access via the internet. On your LAN at home (or business), ur systems will see it, but your router's firewall is the party killer for internet users.

You should have a WAN IP address on your router that we would need and prolly have to set up some port forwarding to your server to be internet friendly. Not insane to do, and once you've successfully done it, you'll say thats easy. Just takes some time and testing.

I'll poke at the GC EU server if time allows me tonight.

Limited time downloads:

http://europe.global-conflict.org/mods/ ... ent_10.exe

http://europe.global-conflict.org/mods/ ... THH-P1.zip
http://europe.global-conflict.org/mods/ ... THH-P2.exe
http://europe.global-conflict.org/mods/ ... ithhp3.zip

EU server is running AIX, let me know if theres a prob. Also I can set up limited BF2CC access for anyone who is an AIX junkee and wants different maps.

Side note: I'd die for a SouthPark mod for BF2. I remember playing the SouthPark FPS from 10 or so years ago and dying of laughter.

Yes, a BF2CC Account for a hand full of GC members would be nice. It is necessary to change the maps and build mapcircles.
