Things to unlock

Since we only have our own Unlocks available (so far) i want to compile a list of KEY Unlocks nearly everybody should have, so common tactics can be used by your leading officers.

Starting from the most important:

1) Shock Paddles
2) Stinger
3) Smoke on Tanks
4) Mines
5) Underbarrel Granade Launcher with Smoke Shells
6) Flares for Helicopter
7) Flares for Jets

Feel free to add important Tools i missed out.
(this is NOT about effective weapons)

I actually don't have grenade launcher and flares unlocked yet. I don't remember clearly but is the repair torch an unlock-able item as well?

Repair torch, spawn beakon, ammo pack and medic pack are there from the start!

Seems Dice made most of the guns to piss off most of the people. Yet we all still play.

Concerning the list, I'm not sure because I don't have all the unlocks yet. However, those you mentioned do surely belong to the most important ones.

Errrmmm, those two tools are granting me the 2 to 5 kills a rounds.
So they are essential to me.

More serious comment:
If you dont have an IR scope you have a huge disadvantige.
That also goes IR vision on the gunner seat of the heli and armor.

Absolutely this! Using the IR scope gives your weapon a huge advantage when attempting to locate enemies... even in broad daylight (which was something I thought to be a little odd).

100 kills on a weapon should unlock the IR scope.

Against an experienced pilot in a 1 to 1 dogfight, you should never be able to shoot him down with heatseakers. Usually faster to gun him down with bullets, experienced or not.

Interesting thing with IR, in metro at long distance in the tunnels people seem to blend in, but in daylight maps you can see a target for miles.

I currenly love the m320, been playing too much Metro high tickets and the different weapons really shine thru. More effective than RPG spamming when used right.
