Post by styphon »

That's right! It's time to kick C1 off and we have a final timeline for you so you know what to expect. Sign ups for the draft are already open so make sure to head on over and stick your name down if you haven't already. Sign ups will close Friday 2nd December ready for the draft on Saturday 3rd Dec, just before battle day.

The battle for initiative will be one week later on Saturday the 10th December with the campaign officially kicking off with its first battle for map control on Saturday 17th December. We then follow with a 2 week break for Christmas and New Year, returning on Saturday 7th December.

Timeline
  1. Sign Ups Close - Friday 2nd December 17:30GMT
  2. Draft Held - Saturday 3rd December 17:30GMT
  3. Armies Intro Battle day - Saturday 3rd December straight after the draft.
  4. Battle for Initiative - Saturday 10th December SBT*
  5. Campaign Week 1 - Saturday 17th December SBT*
  6. Break for Christmas - Saturday 24th December
  7. Break for New Year - Saturday 31st December

I may be in the minority here, but I would like to do an "old school" day on Christmas and New Years.

Maybe BF2 on one of the days and BF42 on the other? I'm guessing more old timers (BF42 players) will be available on New Years since we have families, but please let us know what you want to do.
[sig]Broken due to link being older than I am (in internet years at least) and laziness[/sig]

I can't make the Christmas one as I'm at my parents without my PC. I can't do the New Years one as I don't actually have '42.

Go for it Shrap. I won't be able to make the Christmas one myself but I may be around on New Years.

For us in Netherlands and Germany , the battle start at 19.00 local time.

Appriciated if you report in about 30 minutes for the battle, to sort the squads out.
