SBT

Post by Hitman47 »

I see there is a lot of confusion on what time is now SBT, after the DST effect on Europe. Right now that I'm posting this is SBT+2. The SBT is always the same for Euro and for NA it got moved now + 1 hour so it's the same as before.

SBT is NOT connected to GMT, as GMT never changes.

EU entered daylight savings today. It does not affect SBT for EUs.

For NA people who dont know that EU entered DST today, SBT is now 1 hour earlier.

The change wont happen again until the Fall. How SBT will be addressed in the Fall is unknown at this time. PST people will be strongly affected if SBT sticks with CET.

This post got me more confused. Does this mean 9 AM for PST people?

I think we're now back to the old time of 10 AM.

If you guys in US don't want the confusion then petition your government to change the time the same as everyone else instead of doing it a couple of weeks earlier for no good reason. America used to change the same time as everyone else until a few years ago.

You guys need to petition your governments to get on board with us, clearly our government is doing something right...
