We turned the clocks back last night and I am not sure if that throws off anything

That is my understanding.
SBT follows US DST in the autumn and EU DST in the spring,

SBT will ALWAYS equal 1pm Eastern, whether EST or EDT. It will NEVER change! In spring you will start at SBT -1 for 3 weeks before your DST starts, however SBT will STILL be 1pm Eastern. That's why SBT exists, it's a constant that never changes.
