No gun glitch survey

I had the glitch on the second round of Kiasar Railroad for 1 minute. And much of the time on the first round of Strike At Karkand.

It seemed to be contadious since guys spawned in on me and got the glitch.

It don't matter where you spawn when the server are having problems, its usually effects allot of people at the same time so if the SL is having problems it is likely you will as well.

If you look at the weapons selection on the deploy screen and don't see any icons.
Then you are having the gun glitch and nothing you do are realistically going do have any effect.
You just have to wait for the server to give your weapons back.

Oh and I remember having a milder variant of this a year, or so, ago. Where the graphics of the guns would disappear but not affect the functionality. I wonder if it is the same bug that have become worse or a new one.

We removed procon for the final two rounds (Sabalan Pipeline). Seems like no one got the gun glitch during this time, which could be a coincidence. But at least it's something.

I'm thinking we might have to do something like have procon available during the week and take it off for the battledays. That way you guys can configure servers for practice and whatnot, but during the battleday we can minimize server interactions.

It happened to me once, while we were on Kiasar Railroad.

And, if memory serves me correctly, it happened to my squad mates on Karkand; actually, yes, it was on Karkand because I accidentally killed Gwynzer.

Can you change the post so we can recast votes? I'd never gotten it before last week, but I got it multiple times on both servers. I spent the entirety of two rounds on Bandar hopping around trying to avoid TD's because my entire squad had the glitch. Needless to say, it wasn't very fun.

At this point I'm not sure the poll matters... it's happened severely on both servers. Seems to be slightly map dependent, but even that I think is just a larger random pattern.

We will give our first battleday a shot without any plugins and see if that helps. If it does, we're on to something. If it doesn't, we're back to square one.

I tried to scare enemy LAVs with my engineery presence.

no glitches for me luckily, in my squad led by fearless Cheesy he did outrun our enemies with no weapons (on the first map), while I tried to get near them to kill them invaders, which was quite hilarious on TS.

From what I was getting from my SLs, Bandar was terrible as well. I asked around and I think 12 of my 15 inf guys were having it on this map.

I finally got the no gun glitch during the Rush round on Wake Island on the EU server. Was very brief though as I spawned in only a minute before the round was over.

I didn't hear of anyone getting the glitch yesterday, have you finally found out what the problem is?

Sounds like darkrider got it.

It doesn't seem to happen as bad on Black Ops, must be a server stress thing.

Sounds like a RAM and memory issue on the server, which means we might have to change provider.

Was the Blackops played with or without Procon?
