I'm putting my trust in the GC community to not do that. But yes, in theory, a group of 8 players can do that.

What are we looking at for a rules set ? I'm assuming we will be sticking with GC values for health and 3d spotting ?
Will we have the minimap on or off ? We had it off in one of our first tournaments and I thought that was awesome because it evokes a much greater need for effective communication.

Yup! I know for sure that the gameplay settings will be GC standard settings. Regarding minimap, I think we'll keep it off this time as well since people seemed to be okay with it the previous tournaments.
Maps and other settings will be announced later this week along with the brackets!

Well if we go no minimap you can use mavs if free cam doesn't work.

Yes, it starts at SBT! If your team isn't the first to play, you should be alright. If not, I think there are a few people that could possibly act as a substitue for ya.
