This.
It makes the AC-130 as well as jets invulnerable to gunfire (not missiles!) at a certain, apparently map dependent height.
Most notable on Rogue Transmission according to Symthic.

Possibly a serious issue we need to look into....

lets hope dice gets a patch out before the campaign gets rolling. They usually do fix this stuff. (just not any of the original bugs).

3rd confirmation. Anyway, i found that if you stick or just get stuck to the tail of the AC130, you can actually kill it. (Roadkills are a bonus  ).

On the up side, I can definitely tell that a lot of work has gone into the game since I quit playing about 2 months ago. I downloaded the game over the weekend and had about 1 and a half days to get back into it and see what it's like, there have been some major improvements. There are still some glaring issues which are obvious when you play for 10 minutes, but the game was actually playable for me and I found it really enjoyable. I'd give DICE a solid 7/10 for improvement since this January.

Also thanks for sharing the ninja fixes and the changes they made last week everyone

Every time you switch weapons, you get hipfire accuracy with your first shot with any weapon regardless of whether you ADS.

Or did I miss something somewhere?

That's probably what happens, can't be 100% sure if it's hipfire accuracy or just a bug on the ADS accuracy regarding first shot, but anyways, it's broken.
