Ballistic shields are LIVE!

CTE is moving on to Initiative #2, which is mainly focused on Core Gameplay.
No, they're not making the game again from scratch :lol:

They decided to already add the Ballistic shield

And I already had some fun with it:

No spanish needed (published at 10am GMT -3)

Some facts:

-Extremelly reduced FOV while using (walking or crouch)
-Even when sprinting it covers your side from bullets
-Walking forward will protect everything but your feet and bottom legs
-You don't carry it in your back, it just dissapears once you switch to anything else (I miss having things in my back that I actually had on my character)
-A lot of sh1t will make the glass break and let you vulnerable to bullets (specially .50 cals or explosives, minus the pickup .50 cal for some odd reason)
-1 Hit Kill from close range as showed in the video
-For Sparta!
-Sometimes it uses one of your camos, don't even know how or which one
-A lot of times you can't look down, as you can see in the last scene, I was having problems killing the guy prone on the stairs, and ppl prone in general
-When crouching in enters some sort of crouching state where you can't look down, only sideways and up, but it covers your whole body (front)

Well, playing infantry "was" fun.

At first I thought it was a push-pull game mode... but then the guy just went in between and capped the flag to break the link anyway. k:crazy: Now all I see is a linear map with maybe bonuses similar to the ones a team ALREADY gets when capping flags in conquest.

The more links you control, the more enemy tickets bleed. The team with the most tickets remaining wins
So I assume rounds will be time limited, and that in this game mode links and not flags will cause ticket bleed. This means that a team can theoretically control more flags but if they're not linked the opposing team will not bleed tickets. I assume we also might see fast flag capture like in Domination and random respawns.

Variable bleed to by the sound of it? At the moment you're either bleeding or you're not. The amount of flags you have doesn't increase the bleed rate.
