Wouldn't it be a good idea to wait with the campaign start for the next DLC in July? Latest CTE patch has some pretty cool new stuff as well.

• Reduced 3p hit reaction animation movement (head flinching) to move head less when damage is applied.
• Increased the gunship cooldown for Commander to 60 sec.
• Made both 40mm and M18 smoke grenades spawn more smoke quicker. Also matches the “no spotting” bubble better
• First pass of Triage system added - Visualizes how long time a player is in revivable state for better prioritization

I think the idea was to get people playing BF again. We had a very long downtime between C1 and C2 and it kind of breaks community momentum.

I think it might have been BF4 that was/is breaking the momentum (the campaign didn't add much enthusiasm either IMO). New content and better playability might actually be beneficial in that respect. Assuming it's better than the lousy DLCs we got so far of course.

The current schedule has the first non-scrimmage battle day scheduled for the last weekend in July. There is a very good chance the next big patch will be out before then.

why aren't the HCs announced? because everybody already knows them from ABC --> armies?
in previous campaigns there were much more announcements and organisation (like public timeline).

+1 ,especially because of the fact that the game was free.OR , I don't know on what stage the ARMA 3 project is, but maybe we can speed it up by testing, Flummi and support from other Arma communities.
