How TO: GC RISK
With C6 arond the corner, I managed to get this video done before the campaign kicks off.
Going to put it in that project I mentioned before but posted here so people can see what we have used in the past. Not trying to say we should go back to a risk system. Well... maybe...
Also, word to the wise. If the first frame (or few) are black, Youtube refuses to render the video and leaves it all black. Fun times getting around that...

This is beautiful. Very well done Sloth, very well done indeed!
The only improvement would be if you paused when you mentioned the numbers of divisions allowed to attack and had someone with a wildly different voice and accent say the number we're using for a given campaign. Like one of those phone call menus where they recorded the prompt nicely then fill in the number with a text to speech robot that sounds horribly out of sync.

Wow, very cool. The only thing you might add for clarification is to say "World Control Points" or WPC. Someone watching that for the first time with no knowledge of our system wouldn't know what WPC means

Nice, I always thought GC was like this when I saw the campaign map, was wondering if it was at some point.
2 Questions:
How do divisions and or assets affect in-game?
How come you only said this is live twice?

In the level of actually playing in a server, divisions effected which maps were played and how many round were played.ViperXVII wrote:How do divisions and or assets affect in-game?
Each territory had a map attached to it so you had to had divisions next to a territory with, for example, Firestorm on it to be able to play Firestorm.
How many divisions were defending, and how many were attacking, determined the number of rounds of a map were played. One round per division kill. If there was a lot of divisions involved in the attack, you would play a lot of rounds on one map.
I only remember saying it twice last campaignViperXVII wrote:How come you only said this is live twice?
