are you sure you have installed everything correctly? There is a new hotfix 1.7.1.1. out and it's working perfectly for me. When you see me on TS hop on and we'll try to figure it out :D

I meant broken as in unplayable, not broken as in it wouldn't start for me :P
I was able to play last night just fine on patch 1.7.1.2

well, that's the thing, patch 1.7.1.2. is broken, that's why I'm still on 1.7.1.1. and waiting for the 1.7.1.3. hotfix.

It looks like the current is 1.7.1.4; I just updated on six and a few servers are listing it.

J/K, I tried a laptop for FPS and my score was crap.

Get Arma II and get on some Dayz. It's a blast.
