so, here's apparently what the Tracker variant of the hornet looks like (also a nice long run to the other end of my hangar :| ). Although I did read that the special variants aren't actually in the hangar yet, so I'm not sure if this is actually the tracker or not (it does say F7CR which is the code for the tracker variant on the ship and shown in the video).

phpBB [video]
soon...

Anyone else with a hornet or any variant of it can confirm that the variants are in the hangar?

My hornet looks different (posted the vid somewhere in this thread).
My client just patched and the patch notes read that they added the Hornet variants

Getting ships now, 1+ year before release, is mostly to support the developers and to get in to the alpha and beta.

Cheapest pledge with alpha and beta access is $35.

If you are a backer already, you can still get ships with life time Insurance (LTI) until the 26 of November.
The insurance rates are not known at the moment so the benefits are hard do evaluate.

If you are not a original/veteran backer you can ask one of us to buy stuff for you.
I sure many of us are willing to share our addiction interest

get the ghost, then we can be super scout team! having a stealth scouty ship with some heavy radar behind it could make for interesting operations in the future.

also bounty hunting/piracy logistics

Where is it say that? Do you have to be a really really old backer? Cause I have an Aurora with LTI but my 325a is uninsured. Hence why I plan on not taking that baby out until I can get it fully insured in game.

In the pledge store when I'm logged in.
Link to LTI version of the 325a
If you turn in you 325a and add $10 you can get the arbiter package that comes with 4 Month Insurance.

@matsif looks like you can use the graycat :D

Oh, well I get the message I need to be an original backer/Veteran Backer. So I guess I signed up after they stopped considering people original/veteran but before they removed LTI. Ehh whatev, should have used one of you vets as a mediary to buy my 325a. It's all good though I'll just have to be extra careful with my ship, lol.

apparently a lot of people liked the hornet because the game just hit the $25 million mark.

next stretch goal is $27 million, but at this point all money is apparently being used to expand server capabilities for the alpha and expanding the amount of people in the alpha, along with creating content for release that might have had to wait until a patch or something to introduce. which is awesome.

Yup, it's insane how much money they have in hand. When the dogfighting module comes out and people get some actual gameplay footage... I wouldn't be surprised if there's another gigantic spike in funding.

Damn!

What have i done.
Its started small but now the GCFleet seems to grow bigger with each update.
I am still with my little Freelancer and i dont know if i should put some more extra money in it, to get more ships.

I am SOOOO looking forward for the day, when we all set sail together and show the world our little/big GC Fleet.

Matsif.... your hangar is SICK!
