Re: [World of tanks] Who, who!
I did play, and will play again though I I need to reinstall the game on this machine. I know A432 & Matsif both played WOT, but that was when I as active. Check the TS, an ask around if anyone is interested; or already has a vested interest in the game.
As to teaching well the game is dependent of do want to do large conflicts, or skirmishes; as well as the type of tank-play Heavy, Medium, Light, arty, or TD.
I have influenza at the moment, so i will dl it again since I have time; and get onto TS though I can not say how much talking I will be able to do.

I used to play it, stopped because at a certain point you just can't get more tanks, because the experience cost is so high you'll need too many games, so it got frustrating. Still, it's a fun game, and it will take some time before you actually got to that point.
Of course, if you're willing to spend money on it, which I didn't, getting high tier tanks is much faster,

Thank you guys
Hope we'll be able to play together one day
Im still a noob, but I played some games and I got the second british tank, something with "III" (3).
It's really fast and it has like an LAV cannon, but I always die

I don't remember much, but I think it's a light tank, so use your speed and maneuverability to survive. Your role isn't to destroy things, 'cause usually light tanks' cannons sucks ball, so scout for your teammates, try to flank tanks bigger than yours, because of course their rear armor is weaker, and if you manage to sneak through go kill their artillery: their cannon is fixed and their turn rate is absurdly low, so you can just circle around them and they can never hit you.

Re: [World of tanks] Who, who!
used to play a ton with a432 and canshield and a few others like a year ago now. finished a lot of the german tanks and was working down french stuff when I quit.
completely lost interest in the game though. gets really boring really fast, especially once you start getting in to t6 and above and the matchmaker starts pairing you with t8s and t10s and such.

Yeah, I've been noticing that, even with a stock tank.matsif wrote:used to play a ton with a432 and canshield and a few others like a year ago now. finished a lot of the german tanks and was working down french stuff when I quit.

Re: [World of tanks] Who, who!
The problem I found with W.O.T is if one goes solo it just makes, for one frustrating game. With strategy intended the game lacks multifaceted forms of combat. Yes they have Tank destroyers, but they have fallen under the medium to arty without over top view capabilities. The artillery does require protection, and communications from those in battle which occurs 1 in 20 battles. Not to mention the maps are more beneficial to mediums leaving heavies in a bad place. Not forgetting that arty gets a mix bag with it being 50/50 if they role TD mode, or the actual artillery role intended.
One other point is I would post this in the wargaming.net forums; but I do not want my account IP banned. They do not like being told of the blatant errors which require resolving.
