We didn't seatswitch in the last campaign and chopper play was fine, if we brought in seatswitching into GC play people would get really annoyed pretty fastdimka11 wrote:It will kill teamplay in scoutNecromancer wrote:

Re: Battlefield 4 C2 Feedback survey
Im havent tested it, but im pretty sure with seat switching and full crew little bird won't go down for a single stinger-man.
Its already isn't easy to take down a good little bird crew.
With seat-switching and a good crew the asset is unproportionally strong. More then once little bird pilots had 60+ kills in a round, probably the strongest asset in the game.
And so we didn't allow seat switching last campaign.
However seat switching isn't the problem, its the double usage of countermeasures. But the same type of countermeasure countdown is shared across drivers, so you can't double use the same countermeasure, only different type of countermeasures (ECM and flares).
Seat switching for diffrent weapon layout (7mm/25mm/guided missile) is fine.
So allowing seat switching but requiring the crew to take the same countermeasure allows for more team play in the little bird on one hand, and also raises the awarenees for diffrenet type of countermeasure use for "accusations", as there were some false accusations of seat switching last campaign just because it seems the countermeasure was used too fast, but in reality nobody seat-switched and thr countermeasure was used exactly after 25 seconds reload time, but time distortion accures frequently in the heat of battle, leading us to belive only few seconds passed from the last use.
Looking for different countermeasure use as opposed to rely on your inner clock is a better way o telling whether a double countermeasure seat switch happened or not.
TL:DR
Its more balanced, gives the scout chopper crew more teamwork options, and raises the awareness to a more reliable way of telling if a seat switch for double countermeasure use happened.
