Setting up Teamspeak

Post by .Sup »

You will need Teamspeak in order to play at Global Conflict. This is a basic guide to setting it up -- if you need more help, reply here or check out this advanced guide.

First you need to download TS3. Download here
and select either first or second link, depending on Windows version.

Follow steps below

The click "Add bookmark"
Copy and paste the code

Code: Select all

66.150.121.103:9987
Your nickname can be 15 characters long or shorter.
PASSWORD IS: gcfun

You can also join our TS quickly by clicking the "=GC=" channel in the TS Viewer on the front page once you have completed the above steps.

Teamspeak conduct and rules
• never join channels of the opposing side
• talk only when necessary and not all at once
• channel commanders can only be squad leaders or those in command of the army
• when meetings are held on TS mute your microphone, if you wish to speak then type so and you will be approved
• do not "flood" channels with constant reconnects or otherwise
• it is mandatory to use "Push to talk" button
• even on TS there is chain of command. Contact your division CO and he will bring the message to army commander

Any questions regarding Teamspeak can be asked here.

NOTE: If you use a nickname that is too long, you'll get a message from the server saying you were "perma-banned". You were not actually banned... you simply need to shorten your nickname!

Everyone should see it regardless of browser or settings. Click "homepage" on the top left corner. Then you should see it.
