defently one from the 60s than !
you were allowed to have beer with 16 at that time in Germany ( glad I was 16 then )but for army at least 18 ( not sure about US tho). Leads to: from '67 min. but who cares

I was stationed in Dexheim, did most of my field training at Baumholder, but was able to visit Grafenwöhr once.

As for drinking beer in Germany: I was 18 when I first arrived and 20 when I left. I drank a lot of beer on base and off.
