Glad I updated my GFX card. My old one wouldn't have handled this game. Should be good to go now for low - medium settings.

gonna be able to run it from that, but I'll have to fiddle around with the video settings to see how good it will work when the beta comes out. gonna be close.

I think we should force you to run it on high with that card. Then maybe with the low FPS you'll get the rest of us will stand a chance :P.

Honestly Styph I think I will have a hard time even on low settings. BC2 was very laggy for me as I had low FPS, that's why I only play TF2 for the past 3 months Image

I am considering new GFX card but the problem is other shiny things distract me. I am getting a loaner 900$ headphone this week to evaluate and if I like it I might buy one so bye, bye GFX card for another month.

BF3 is supposed to be more optimised than BC2, so you should get better performance. However I guess we'll see if that's true or not soon enough in the beta.

8) we are so l33t .... provided that origin actually works and it does not take us some 72 hours to get the beta running ....

Anybody knows if origin will let us know that there is something ready to dld. Or (considering its EA is unlikely) will dld it automatically= ready to play?
