Draftsystem by Ramrod64, <your name if you edit>
Conditions to become a General:
- Numbers of =GC= Campaigns
- Numbers of HC Officers Positions
(both of these, if they have one campaign at least, and if proven to be born leaders, they should be observed)
- Numbers of Officers Positions
- Natural born leaderpersonality
- Tactical expierence
- Active Forumposter, Stratforums,... (no wordassoziationposts,...)
Officers Draft:
Condition for a HC Officer
- Numbers of =GC= Campaigns
- Numbers of Officers Positions
- Natural born leaderpersonality
- Tactical expierence
- Active Forumposter, Stratforums,... (no wordassoziationposts,...)
High Command Draft:
- HC should consists of 3-4 HC Officers without General.
- Starts before the Officer Draft
- The General is allowed to build his own HC by asking every player he wants to.
Condition for a Squad Officer
- Numbers of =GC= Campaigns
- Numbers of Officers Positions
- Natural born leaderpersonality
- Tactical expierence
- Active Forumposter, Stratforums,... (no wordassoziationposts,...)
Officer Draft
- Army should consists of at min 6 Squad Officers
- Generals should thinking of what kind of Army they are going to lead, e.g. two Inf , one armoured and one airforce Squads, or two inf, 1 airforce ...
- Starts before the Group and Single Draft.
Players Draft
Group Draft:
- Every group is free to create a group that make sure that these players, the Clan will play together.
- What is required to build up a group:
- Your group needs a Groupleader
- The group consist of at least 2 Players (with Groupleader, e.g. Chopperteam)
- Short description of your group, Infantry squad, tank squad, airforce...
- If you wanted to play as a hole squad please make sure that you will have at least one SL in the group who might be a officers (not required for an airforce group)
- Your squadmembers should played more then 2 battles in the campaign before, besides new guys!
original text: If you making group drafting maybe it would be more usefull to compaire the groups, I think a player who is interested in GC knows the power of the groups, and if the one general take the one group the other one get the other one and get the second choice. So we will make sure that the group drafting is still in active and that one General who lost the overview of the drafting groups only gets the groups which hits his eyes on the first time. And we still keep the possiblilty to play together as a group or clan! So no one should be able to get out of the draft only if he wants to play with his friends he have the possibilty to create a group! Btw it should be make sure that the numbers still were balanced if a group have more then all the other groups groups could also be mixed up the keep the balance.
Single Draft:
Everyone else who didn't joined one of the Drafts before will be in the Single Draft, besides players who were not able to play more then 2 Battles in the Campaign before. Players who were not able to play more then 2 Battles in the campaign before are called INACTIVE! If they rejoin they could decide in which army they will join.
original text For the next campaign maybe only the players should be getting into the draft who played MORE then 2 battles in the Campaign before (this campaign is not representive!)
"because i wondered that i have been drafted I only played one battle in C6! Normaly that is a huge sign for inactivity. The rest, if they rejoin GC can choose the army they want to, but only if they were inactive till the last campaign."
thank you for your attention, this is only what I'm thinking about the drafting system in the future, i hope this will working and will make a much better gc then we saw in the past 3 campaigns!
I already though about the Officers draft but I'm not sure if my intentions are welcome Smile so maybe we should keep this, maybe i will make a wiki post of Drafting ideas which could be read by everyone,

A General needs to be a cheerful person, the ones you rely upon to tell you something cheering when the battle is not going too good.
Although experience is a must, i think that every player who volunteers to be a general, if he has 1, 3, 5, 6 or even 8 campaigns, should be observed.
He needs to have the will to lead soldiers, and the mind to know how to.

Many options possible, I think every options has his flaw.
1.) Free for all. --> HC selected by exec's --> Officers draft (from the pool of officers sign ups) --> Soldiers join the arrmy they want by ABC.
2.) Forum draft. --> HC selected by the exec's --> Officers draft (from the pool of officers sign ups) --> Soldiers have to sign up in the forum, the HC draft from that list
3.) Fixed draft --> Exec's makes a fine selection of 2 perfect armies, including the officers. --> HC selected by the exec's or by vote
4.) ABC draft --> HC selected by exec's --> Officers draft (from the pool of officers sign ups) --> Soldiers automaticly drafted in ABC.
No option can garantee a balanced team in numbers.
I still say: the draft is a HC game. Option 4 is the easiest way to administrate, and has my preference
Lets discuss the pro and cons and try to get a solution by the beginning of the new year.
1) Pro: Easy for our lazy members. Just join a army in ABC.
Ultimed freedom to the soldier to choose witch side he plays
Con: No influance of the numbers to keep it balanced
2) Pro: Members who registerd for the draft in the forum, are most likely to be active (still no garantee) Con: People still wants to enter a army, tho they didnot sign up for the draft.
3) Pro: Teams are balanced Con: some people might not like the formation, and don't play
4) Pro: Easy to administrate Con: Attendance in the past is no garantee for the future
