MX1000 sucks, it's just not suitable for gaming. If you need a wireless mouse get the G7 or MX700 (not sure if this one can be found).

I have an old MX500 bought about 2 years ago and it's working flawlessly. Actualy I preffer the MX500 series over the G5 because it has 2 thumb buttons compared to 1 on G5 (I use those exclusively for teamspeak, so 2 buttons come in handy - 1 for normal chat and the other for channel commander).

Odd, I have that problem with my Dell laptop as well, but since I don't play on it (I use it mostly for e-mail and text editing) I've been ignoring this particular problem. And it only started after I reinstalled windows about a year ago.

Yes they will work, you just sometimes need to manualy adjust the memory speeds instead of leaving it on Auto.

As for the original problem - I heard Windows XP has problems working with more than 2GB of RAM, maybe that's the problem here. Try asking Corsair support, maybe they can tell you more...

A nice heavy sledgehammer will probably fix your problem. I recommend the Logitech G5 as your next mouse :)

If you're lazy and/or can't afford a new mouse then try updating your drivers...

Re: 1942

I just bought the game BF1942 and have been trying to play multiplayer online. But every time I try it says 'ERROR - Wrong version'. I've downloaded every patch I've found...is there one specific one I'm missing? You need to download the full 1.6 patch and the 1.61 incremental patch. Also make sure...

Don't bother, it was probably a bot or something. The entire thread should be deleted.

No.

For example lets say you have a 200GB disk. Before you make the first partition all 200GBs of it are unallocated. If you make a partition of 20GB now you have 20GB allocated and 180GB unallocated space etc.
