If i read it right -Fed is a clan, right? So whenever you quit that clan, the clan quits you, or renames it self to the SisterOfMercy (-SoM) you will want your name changed again?

Ok guys. I don't mind the few clicks renaming someone but I won't change names because someone changes clans. BigJoe you want to be BigJoe without the number and without -Fed?

If anyone can paraphrase in simple English what Dg1 asked for I'd be happy to help him.

Smells like a fresh install. Once you did it. Invest some money into something like Acronis True Image Home. Saved me countless hours already.

I can rename you. "frigginchucknorris" is what you want? Seems a bit long. We have plenty players with different ingame and forum nicks. So you could just leave it as it is right now.

I wouldn't invest one cent into an AGP system. It's tough but you are better of saving for a new mainboard, 2gb that fit into it, new cpu and new graphicscard.

Ok guys. It's a faster server with the exact same connection as the old one. If pings got worse. They would have with the old server just the same. Routing changes almost hourly. The internet is a dynamic place. Our hoster will add capacity in 1. Quarter 2007 which will mostly benefit T-Com customer...

I am excited about Quake Wars too. Wonder if my machine will be fast enough to run it. 2142 was pretty fun at the beginning but I personally lost interest pretty quick and prefer a good Bf2 spanking again. In the end GC will probably play what it's members ask to be played. I don't want to end up wi...

GC Mirror in place: http://europe.global-conflict.org/bf214 ... e_1.10.exe

Reads like 2142 is a huge step closer to be used for GC style matches.

nopes. bf2/2142 only use one core at a time buuut the core 2 duo 6600 comes with 4mb cache shared between the two cores. i am pretty sure bf2 will make use of the extra memory it can get. our current cpu (a pentium d 930) has "only" 2mb per core. The 2nd core is useful though and runs team...
