USB Headset and Non-USB Speakers (resolved)

Woot...more annoying questions from me! So, today my third set of headphones in a year broke and I went to get new ones...again. (thank god for warranties) Anyway, I ended up getting an Altec Lansing USB Headset, and now I have it plugged into a USB port. It's working great. But I also have a pair o...

Hmmmmm...still no luck :( I tried making a mini-DVD following Winter's steps, and I've also tried using a full copy of the DVD. I've tried mounting each in both Alcohol and Daemon Tools and still had no luck. Every time, I get the error that the DVD is not in the drive  Winter, do you think you...

Yep, I'm sure that works for BF2, but 2142 seems to have more elaborate copy protection that prevents the virtual drive from working :?

Right now there are no mini-images available for BF2142 :( I ended up burning a copy of the DVD (3GB) on my laptop and then moving it over to my desktop. Then I mounted the imagine with Daemon-Tools and installed the game, which worked fine. But now, when I try to play, I get an error saying I don't...

Playing 2142 without DVD Drive?

So, I got BF2142 for Christmas, and now I'm trying to install it. But I have a little problem: my comp doesn't have a DVD drive. My laptop does, and I can install 2142 onto my desktop across the network, but I can't actually play without the DVD in my comp. I was thinking of making a disc image and ...

Yep, you're probably behind a router. Try going to ipchicken.com and handing out the IP you see there when people want to join.

I plan on building my next desktop, but the idea of putting a laptop together is terrifying 8O Anyway, the Dell deal was too good to pass up, and support has been great. Though the chats are frustrating, the support lady who's come both times has been knowledgable (and waaaay too talkative). Still, ...
