Re: bf4
Could you imagine 1000 ticket rounds with fully destructible buildings? I mean, 1000 ticket rounds of Caspian get pretty barren, something like Karkand with improved destruction would be insane.
/edit not that it would be a bad thing. I'd fraking love to be able to drop entire buildings.

Re: bf4
All ready called dibs dude Sorry Bro, BF4 C1 has been dib'd by myself and Duke basically since BF4 was announced. I said I'd General BF4 C1 vs Spreez, Duke said he'd Veto that if BF4 came with commander mode. I believe Duke said he wanted to do C1 Duke Vs Rob, but who knows, maybe it could be Duke ...

Re: And who are you, the proud lord said ... [GoT spoilers]
I was thinking about that while at work today. There's a couple ways they could end this season, and it's basically either more "oh god why?" oriented, or they could swing it in the opposite direction so it ends on a "holy crap, frak yeah!" note. The problem is, there's so much &...

Re: And who are you, the proud lord said ... [GoT spoilers]
I wonder if ratings will tank now Well I know it's fairly common among the book readers to have thrown the book down and ignored it for a week or more, who knows how it will be received by the viewing audience. Also, I feel like someone needs to cross the "did you think this was a game?" ...

If you hadn't read the books, that scene, the way it starts, holy frak I can't even imagine how that would feel.

I was actually around this spot in the book when the show was announced...I was like "frak, I'll have to go through this AGAIN?"

Re: GC Tournament #4 - BRACKETS UP!!! TOURNEY TMW @SBT+.5!!!
how is it going to work next week with scrim #1 at the same time? Haruky managed to bribe the TAs into getting priority for the tournament, so the first match is literally starting at SBT, and we're going to run through it as fast (and fairly) as possible. We have two servers, so depending on numbe...

Re: GC Tournament #4 - BRACKETS UP!!! TOURNEY TMW @SBT+.5!!!
What happened between 4tres and Tiddys on Bazaar, though? From what I heard Tiddys were down 2 or 3 players for large parts of the game. Yeah, we lost giggles near/at the start of round one and didn't get a replacement until it was essentially over. Loa disconnected atleast once, I think gonzo disc...

Re: Who else plays?
Drums, Trumpet, Bass x bajillion, Guitar (x2 potentially). I totally foresee an internet jam session to make a GC video for BF4, maybe to our own take on the (original) battlefield theme.

Re: Who else plays?
Just remember, your thumb isn't meant to play any strings on the neck. It still gets me when I see extremely competent guitar players wrapping their thumb around the neck, it burns my OCD. Granted guys like Nile Rodgers are still plenty fast/dextrous and can play great despite it...but no one is doi...

Re: Story of My Life
well, a soldier carries lots of equipment, not to mention the protective panels in vests, so getting in the water would probably dorwn if he jumped off a bridge like that, ofc in RL he'd just unsnap the equipmnet and swim away, but BF3 is maybe simplifying the whole thing and you die.....or jst BF3...
