More Mod Editor Problems

That error usually happens alot, I don't think it's causing your problems.

For light maps you go to compile and select lightmaps, then choose what level of quality you want, then sit back and wait a half hour while the uncancelable process completes itself.

For realistic water, your probably best off finding an official bf2 map that has water you like, going to it's level folder, opening the server.zip file, and taking the water.con file from in there and replacing the water.con file in your level's folder.
