Extreem lag with Xfire

I am expiriance extreem lag on BF2 servers while running Xfire.
Even on the Euro server.

I had a slide show, judt by walking with a ping of 35

I never had these problems.

I am alone in this?

Do XFire Messages pop up in the game? I've disabled it because it got on my nerves but it might solve that problem too.

Just running on the background.

I think I am gonna uninustall it, and never gonna use it again.

I never run anything in the background while playing online, with the exception of Teamspeak and the TSO overlay for it.

I just feel I need every bit of bandwidth I can muster, especially when we play during heavy internet using times like weekdays in the am and weekends in the evening.
