Well with his specifications he should be able to play BF2 with everything on the highest settings.

how long has this been happening? If it's only starting to do this recently, and before everything was okay, then it could be a bad sign that your video card is going bad.
Try updating video drivers? http://www.nvidia.com
Try cleaning bf2's video cache? Delete all the files in My Documents > Battlefield 2 > mods > bf2 > cache. Only problem is that it takes forever to load in the next time you do (optimizing shaders, boo)

If not then as suggested delete the graphics cache, then try a full re-install.

That's not necessarily true. If it was overheating though you would get artifacts that looked different to those 'shadows'.styphon wrote:Overheating wouldn't cause those kind of graphic glitches. The pc would crash or reboot.supersabre12 wrote:Overheating??
