Or an SSD? Win7 boots up and runs sooooooo beautifully on an Intel X-25M!

That's one suggestion I can backup. Windows 7 feels so much faster with an SSD. It's unreal. Don't worry about 300mhz more or less or quad cores with/without ht for the cpu.
just call me phil on ts, ingame, wherever. i'll even respond to phil in real life. wooohooo!

For €70? Even the 80GB X25-M costs €226 (£200). 8O

Yea, "Intel Server Store" has it at $240.19.

I was basically just referring to the idea that you could use that money to upgrade another component of the system. So sure, you're still spending a good amount of extra cash... but man, to me this is an upgrade that's worth the money.

So in the end I bought Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3, G.Skill Ripjaws 2x2GB and i7 860...

I still haven't tryed any games 'cuz currently I don't have any spare time.

But, I HAVENT REINSTALLED WINDOWS!!!!! I can't believe it... Win7 just updated itself!! I didn't need to install any drivers myself, it did it all by itself!!!

Win7??
