Connecting to Accounts Server [RESOLVED]

Does anyone else have to wait about 5 minutes to connect to their account?

I've had that happen once or twice. Especially if I log off, then try to log back on in a short period of time (like 1-2 minutes).

As you probably know "connection problem" is my new first name. Yes it takes long to connect to the account server, but I don't think I have waited 5 minutes.

How do you connect? Did you start the game using the "play online" icon? If you did the game does not only connect you to the account server but also searches the web for a free spot on a ranked server - which did take some minutes for me as well. Try connecting with the BF2 icon and see if that solves your problem.
