I Need Help!(resolved)

Post by Fizzbang »

Alright, uh, where to start.. Ok, some questions.

1) There is an overwhelming ammount of forums and topics and posts. Can someone give me a link to the schedule and/or strategies of the upcoming war?

2) I don't have teamspeak, but i'm pretty sure I have an install disc with a free month. I'm not sure how it works. I do however have VOIP and a Mic. Could someone help me with this?

3) I've assigned myself to a squad, but i'm curious how we will play a game with pretty much 200 v 190 people.. Wouldn't we have to spread ourselves out over 3-4 servers?

That's about it for now. I probably posted this in the wrong place, but take it easy on me please, i'm new here!

Oh, a fourth question.

What html do I need to add an image, (http://bf2stats.ausgamers.com/sig/44965325/sig.png), to my signature? It wasn't working and was just displaying a link.

Fiizzbang,

You have to use the bbcode brackets on both ends of the url in question, to have it appear as an image.

Code: Select all

[img]http://bf2stats.ausgamers.com/sig/44965325/sig.png[/img]
As per the above example using your own url.

Make sure there are no gaps between the brackets and your url at both ends of the url addy line.

There is a very good help page for bbcode, just click on the bbcode link just to the lower left of the format box you use to write your posts in.

There is a help page for teamspeak at modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=104

Someone from your army of choice will be along shortly to help you with any and all other questions you have. If you get impatient, just go to our new members help forum and Dagrooved1 will help you for sure.

Thanks for the link to teamspeak and I didn't catch this forum before, sorry about that.

Also, if you look at my signature, it still doesn't work with the bbcode on each end..

Nothing wrong with your link address. Make sure you have no gaps between first set of brackets and "h" and "g" and last set of brackets.

Also make sure you have the block in your "profile" that is labeled "enalble sigs" checked, mate.

You had a gap between the first set of brackets and http:. I fixed it for you, bro. Please study the bbcode used before changing your image again, copy?

Fizzbang: Same problem with yours mate. Fixed now.
