i can get it for £17.99 currently, not that i am a scrooge but i hate buying something to find out damn i could off got 8 pints for that!!!!

I am excited about Quake Wars too. Wonder if my machine will be fast enough to run it. 2142 was pretty fun at the beginning but I personally lost interest pretty quick and prefer a good Bf2 spanking again. In the end GC will probably play what it's members ask to be played. I don't want to end up with 10 vs 10 matches on Saturdays.

Yes, I think it is. I have bought many games in the 35-50 dollars american range that sucked a lot worse than this game. I think it is a nice change from BF2, and variety is the spice of life they say.

Buy it.....now that xmas has passed it might come down in price even more.

Depends on how EA forecasts it's service life. They are collecting data now to make a business plan for the next quarter. If they see players maxing out on rank and points and even a subtle decline in new players registering their nicks, the price will fall rapidly.

The trick is to sell all the DVD's they make and not make too many extra. They lose money on the credit needed to finance storage of media, transport of media, cost of storage and of course trying to keep the DVD's on the store shelves as close to the current patch as they can.

Blah, blah, blah......I just think that it will come down in the next month, universally..........mark my words and time will tell.

No solid date yet , just Q1 in 2007.
But demo "should" be out on 2nd of January.

Like already said: expencive mod.
But I enjoyed it.

Now I have most of the unlocks, I concentrated back on BF2.

Still the fixes, did not come with more maps, no editor.
So IMO tough to fit in a GC campaign, with a few maps.
