[BF2] OPK 0.18 Released

Post by Shrapnel »

The new version of Operation Peace Keeper mod is out. Details on the release as well as the download are here.

No mention of the squad bug being fixed though...

I believe the squad bug was caused because of the latest BF2 patch (1.41) so I believe that should be fixed when they say "compatible with 1.41. I'm definetly going to check it out though, prefer this mod over POE2.

wow, how changes are for the better in this! I remember the old OPK being very glichy and such, but that was v. 0.6 or something like that. this is much better than the older versions, I have joined the uprising of liking it better than POE2, other than the fact that I have only played the 1 singleplayer map that works
woke up this morning, put on my slippers, walked in the kitchen and died

I played a game online with it and even though there werent many people on [maybe 5 or 6 at the most] it was still a fun game. I noticed a lot of teamwork on it. More then on vanilla bf2 servers.

I like this mod very much. Maybe we can replace some PoE maps with OPK.

Technical possible but imo taking always too much time changing mod from vanilla to poe2 to sfx to opk and backwards...

OPK is more the simulation mod and POE2 the acarde mod. I also like OPK but it took always too long that they release a new update cause they are really detailed in models.
There already had been a discussion about poe2 and OPK.
But we can give it a try.
(it is really sad that the maps between each mods are not exchangeable ^^)
Ramrod, out!
